Q&A: HELP – I am trying to convert my movie (From Windows Movie Maker) so it is compatible with youtube.?

Question by Tom: HELP – I am trying to convert my movie (From Windows Movie Maker) so it is compatible with youtube.?
I have downloaded “AVS Video Converter” and when I try to select the input file, it says “File Access Error”. Help me.

      Thanks
It’s a “MSWMM” File If that helps

      Best answer:

      Answer by Lexia269
Windows Movie Maker files normally upload to youtube without conversion.
It may be that the size of the file you are trying to upload is too big. If that is the case, try resaving the file in windows movie maker but instead of saving it as the optimum size, adjust the size so it is less than 100mbs.

Hope that helps. I have never had trouble uploading from WMM to YouTube in the past so that is the only thing I can think of.

What is a great “free” avi to mp4 converter?

Question by rainbow_fluff: What is a great “free” avi to mp4 converter?
I downloaded one and it was pretty good, but it made some shots flawed in my video (some were still, the titles skipped and a still shot did not show up). The transitioning was a bit slow. Will a better converter make my video nearly perfect? Is this possible? Do you have any idea which converter I should use? When I converted my avi to a DVD, it was fine (and I think this was an mp4), so can I make a better mp4 on the computer by converting an avi? Thanks for any help.

        Best answer:

        Answer by Matthew
DVD videos are vob format (http://www.dvdtopreviews.com/dvd-glossary.html ), you need free avi to dvd burner, you can use dvd flick, it is free and enables you to burn video files to dvd.

Can all digital coaxial cables act as video, analog audio cables too?

Question by : Can all digital coaxial cables act as video, analog audio cables too?
So, I bought a digital coaxial cable for use with a digital to analog converter, but the converter isn’t working properly. Everything is connected correctly, so I have one thought; according to the eBay listing I bought the cable from, it can also work as:

          “· Digital audio
          · Analog audio
          · Subwoofer audio
          · Composite video”

Is it possible that the converter doesn’t know which signal to decode into analog audio, or are all coaxial cables like this?
Yes, the converter is plugged in.

          Best answer:

          Answer by Fredmaster
Cables are basically just runs of wire that transmit an electrical signal. Especially with digital data, the cable doesn’t really care what it’s transmitting, so it could be basically anything. The converter will basically just convert whatever it’s receiving, which, assuming everything is set up correctly, will be an audio signal. It’s most likely that the converter is just defective.

Q&A: How is it possible for blinkx to have “over 35 million hours of video”?

              by FHKE

Question by Jamie M: How is it possible for blinkx to have “over 35 million hours of video”?
It says on their site that they have over 35 million hours of video to search through:

that converts to nearly 4,000 SOLID YEARS of video. I am having trouble conceiving how even with doubles and triples of some content, and multiple sources could make up 4,000 years of video when we have only been recording it for 50-60 years.

At the moment, I would say LCD. Plasmas are still very succeptible to the whole screen burning in. The best way to go would be DLP.

                    You can try SUPER converter.

                    http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

There are many converters for windows. Some converters actually make you pay, which is stupid, but there are many good free ones. SUPER is just one example.
One tip: SUPER’s website is really messed up and it’s hard to find the download link.
Here’s a link that leads straight to the download: http://erightsoft.podzone.net/GetFile.ph… (it’s no virus, trust)
